Our Mission
To bridge the literacy and digital divide by using ICT to foster life-long learning and hands-on education for children and youth of our nation and Africa in order to:
- develop highly skilled proteges with strong character and leadership qualities set to compete in the global economy;
- develop individuals with an appreciation for our rich cultural identity, volunteerism, team work and community values;
- provide career guidance and build individual talent with a passion for excellence.
Our Focus
The focus of MIND is threefold:
- ICT based learning/Digital learning to be globally competitive,
- providing access to ICTs and bridging the digital gap for disadvantged youth.
- developing digital competencies in school-age children and youth.
- improving students' achievement levels in Math, English and Science through ICT-based instructional aid.
- Vocational skills training to enhance income generating options with a view to reducing poverty; and
- inspiring creativity and emphasizing hands-on education.
- improving the skills, attitudes and behaviours of youth for self employment.
- Empowering rural youth with skills to enable them make informed decisions about their own development.
- Leadership development with inclination to civil and moral education, history and culture of the Nigerian people, service to humanity by way of volunteering and giving back as well as building strong character.
- providing leadership skills and the tools needed for youths to become positively engaged in their communities.
- promoting volunteerism and selfless service among young people.
- preparing African youth for good governance.
